Time

With the recent incident I got more time spent at my parents’ place.  After putting my gal to sleep, my mum & I got a chance to sit down for some tv.  Sitting real close, I saw mums strands of white hair - time to add some colour).  Went out to get toothpaste in the kitchen, Dad was brushing but actually his dentures.  I cant better put into words aging is taking place.  Family & health is really most important now.

Goodness me…

Broke the bad news to my dearest relatives & friends.  It didnt occur to me it is such nerve-wreaking process especially when when comfort & encouragement were texted in.   Didnt managed to break the news to MIL in Teochew, so Sis had to help tranlate.  Realized Fish is realli realli upset…

I dunno how to pen my feelings…simply numbing pain by not speaking about it.  Its not like I am evil or didnt put effort and yet I have to let go while its is still alive.  What is this???

Baby bloom

My office is having a baby bloom.  3 co are now ”enjoying” (at least I would) their maternity leave, another will become new mummy in another 2 weeks.  1 suspected of early preggers while me & another are actively trying.

Till date, I know of many of mother-wannabe has gone thru’ some many ordeals:  female problems, mis-c or simply lack of baby dust.   Sometimes, the green-eyed monster  hunts us when some of us can just do it & “pop” out comes the babe in 9mths easily.  Nothing against these lot.  Can you imagine woman dealing not only with PMS but high hopes replaced by disappointment?  Its rather taxing to anticipate a “+” sign on the clearbue stick. 

I also dunno why I wan so many kids also, its not like its easy to raised them.  Needs time. needs money and needs care as we go along…perhaps thats what having a family is all about.
Well, for friends who are still doing the marathon or for those who has cleared the finishing line, you deserved the upmost admiration to preserve and try.

Feelins

Happy because I was dressed for the event.  Unhappy because secretly I think I was left out for something.  Happy because the event ended all well.  Unhappy because I pretended to be happy.  Happy because I saw an ex-co who never fails to set my adrenaline rushing.  Unhappy because my gal is not back with us tonight.  Happy to be home.

Guilty guilty!!!  I promise to find time to write after inspired by Katie’s nice blogs but then failed to comply.  Surprisely, Maggie did up more pieces recently.  There seems so much to do recently even during weekends.  Prob sinc Kar-kar came along, more family outing was arranged.  Was at Zoo on my birthday last week and Jade enjoyed it more than anyone of us.  We are visiting Haw Par Villa tomolo, will try to write up if she cries out loud after seeing the huge gorilla. 

Anyway it was merely a week pass my 31st birthday when I feel my body failing me lots.  Papa just helped me paste some ”koyok” over the back muscles while Papa himself rub in some mentholatum over his shoulders too.  I blame Jade being too clingy but then cant help it coz we only get to spent that many weekend time with her. 

Dunno if we can cope if we have the 2nd kiddo but still pray for so good baby dust!  As the saying goes: “The bridge will be sraight when the ship docks”…

Jade’s is NOT ASLEEP!!!  Sigh…cheated me of my milk again…must go entertain her again…

Beaten…

It has been a eventful weekend, things going on back to back.  Well, lets start with Friday nite when ex-co & partners gathered at Tajiyama restaurant for some good Japan meat grill!  Not to mention I got my anticipated Wagyu beef treat from Fish after his flying colours drive test.  Was really tempted to get some car studying into place but I always think I would be a hazard to the road; looking at the way i ride my bicycle

Sat & Sun came quickly, and we nearly covered the entire Leng Kee Road for some close up viewing for a suitable car to suit our $ plan since Fish really dislike the idea of having to live frugally after getting our own weekend getaway car…its a close call to what we can afford after Fish’s many calculation.  I merely considered the outlook of the car :P  Its unlikely a sedan looking car since we both like hatch…phew…TBC.  Meanwhile go rest and rub my aching feet from over-walking in flat slippers…

2. Ma1 Ma3 - Suppose to be Mummy, gets confused when Ken’s mum is around coz it can Ma2 Ma3
3. Po Po - Calling grandma 
4. Gong Gong - Grandpa, spoken really soft till it sounds like oong oong
5. Ba boo - It really means baby
6. Mumm mumm - Typical…I wan food…
7. Nenn - Milk
8. Bom…bom… - Starting to catch that it means bathing
9. Abpel - Its really an Apple
10. Ball ball - She says it well and plays it even better
11. Ess - She only knows Yes..sometimes she nods her head along with it
12. Orpen - She likes to Open & close my bathroom dresser
13. Up - Loud & clear when you go inside the lift
14. Doown - Then you have to correct her coz’ we are going down
15. Duck duck - Expert!  Spoken professionally!

18. Maoo - In chinese, excited when seeing kitty cat

22. Paan da - Wa…heard only once when the Panda toy pops out 
23. Ish - Enjoys seeing fishes but cant pronounce it well

25. Butt - Its bus with the “s” and sticks her hand out to flag
26. Wat der - This word more coaching, it means water
27. Aoaaarr - Mimics lion roar

30. Haa chew - Errr…its a sneezing sound but she mimics real well…

Her understanding of things & physical development is much than speech.  Jade needs lotsa prompting and encouragement to talk…Jia you Xiao Yu…

What bored parents will do to their toddler?

From the last story, we all knew that Jades new  bed has been successfully setup and she is cool getting on/off bed.  Rather nuisance though, when she keeps carrying her bolster everyone she goes.  Drops it in the kitchen at times.  Pissed…and hide it under her blanket.  For once she could not find it…utill she sees the little end of the bolster not covered up and fished it immediately…and runs berserk around  yet again!  Hides her bolster in my room now.  Anyway, cousin Lele came for visit last week, caught them both in bed sucking!!!…well their milk bottles…what else?

Checked blanket made by Mummy’s grandmama.  She will be happy to know her grandgrand daughter loves to rub her feet in it.

Papa got a bicycle child’s seat for the foldable.  Xiao yu looking good when he toured her at home.  Rather small size for the seat though. 

Just got Yu a gorgeous feeding chair from Ikea @ $69.  Pricey but Papa says metal is steadier and he paid for it anyway… :P  Feeding is still not a breeze yet coz she keeps standing up…olive butt everywhere, so we introduce all stuff on her chair.    Throws everything on the floor and NBNB on the chair…sigh…

You see Popo says Yu will have big neis.  Papa have too high a expectations.  Pix explains it all.

4 days

Back tracking…last April AL and cant take any more leave in May & June.  Sigh…less time with Yu liao.

Tired…just did Yu’s laundry which piled quite abit since she came home for the pass 4 days.  I guess this is the consequences of mummy making baby pretty and changing her clothes at least 3 times a day.  Washed the blanket my grandmama made for me, now its for Xiao Yu.  Perhaps this will be the heirloom blanket.  To mummy’s delight, Xiao Yu is cooping well with her new toddler bed.  Daddy & Mummy loved to stay in her room too, pity we did’nt install aircon initially. 

Anyway baby is ill, down with fever & minor cough.  Popo is real worried she might be infected with swine flu.  Hopefully she recovers better tonight else we bring her to Doc Ho tomolo.  Sidetrack, our laptop is completely “down”, think the motherboard ki-chia.  Needs resurrection at Sim Lim, I think.  Went Vivo AGAIN (visited Vivo 3 times liao for the pass 4 days!) to pick up another laptop. 

Sleepy…really…I may not be the best mummy but I gave my best whenever Yu comes home.  I dunno if I can be as relaxed when there is another kid.  I pray for new bundle of joy soon.  I need help…
